A Tagged and Searchable Knowledgebase of LinkedIn® Climate Content

LinkedIn® is an amazing source of climate change-related information, which is why we launched the Climate Change on LinkedIn® Newsletter. But the Newsletter cannot do justice to the amount of great content being generated, and going through prior Newsletters looking for a post you might remember would be as frustrating searching for the post on LinkedIn®. That’s why we’ve created this dedicated Climate Change on LinkedIn® Knowledgebase that allows you to:

Note: The Newsletter has gone through significant changes even in its first 10 issues as we’ve tried to figure out how to make it most useful for readers, while making our production process as efficient as possible. These changes have also impacted the Knowledgebase, which explains why content has changed or even disappeared. Our goal is to

Open Access

Anyone visiting the Knowledgebase can read all of the issues of the Climate Change on LinkedIn® Newsletter.

There is a minimal fee for the Knowledgebase as opposed to the Newsletter, which is Open Access. For an example of Knowledgebase content see a selection of Mark Trexler’s collected posts or of Zsolt Lengyel’s collected posts (coming soon), and imagine similar access to hundreds of posts by topic, date, and author. A Knowledgebase subscription will ultimately cost $5.99/month, but as part of our launch we’re offering coupon codes for early subscribers. The first 100 subscribers will receive an 80% discount with code “LinkedIn80.” The next 500 subscribers will receive a 66% discount ($2/month) with code “LinkedIn66.” Click Here to Subscribe!

To access the main elements of the Knowledgebase subscribers can simply click on any of the links organized below. If you’re not familiar with TheBrain software we’ve used to build this and our other knowledge management solutions, our User Guide will bring you up the necessary learning curve in about 120 seconds - it’s that simple!

KnowledgeBase Organization

As discussed in the User Guide the Knowledgebase is a simple application of TheBrain software, and navigating the Knowledgebase is uniquely easy. Also as discussed in the User Guide you can use the Search feature to refine your search beyond the “Tags” listed below.

Chronologically Organized Posts - This is the simplest way to quickly scan all the posts added to the Knowledgebase in a given week. The most recent 6 weeks worth of posts added to the Knowledgebase will always be available. Posts that “age out” of this chronological listing will still be accessible through the topical and expert collections farther down the page.

Topically Organized Posts - This makes it easy to explore posts directly relevant to topic you are interested in. More topics will be added over time, and feel free to request new topics. We’re not sure yet whether to chronologically or numerically limit the number of included posts - user feedback welcome!. As in the Newsletter, we’ll also be generating topic-specific “stories” to help you navigate topical content, and adding recommended individuals and organizations to follow on LinkedIn®.

Sector-Specific Posts

Expert Collections - This makes it easy for you to explore the body of posts from a range of climate thought leaders on LinkedIn®. More thought leaders will be added to the list on a regular basis, and feel free to suggest names you would like to see included. Since you can always “search” for posts associated with any person’s name, we’ll limit these collections to individuals who have a substantial number of posts in the Knowledgebase.

This page has hopefully given you some idea of how powerfully you can leverage the Climate Change on LinkedIn® Knowledgebase. It’s taken a lot of work to build it, which is why there is a minimal fee for access to subscriber content in the Knowledgebase. If you have not subscribed you won’t actually see the content attached to all of the tagged collection highlighted above. Click Here to Subscribe!
