Climate Knowledgebases

In this Brain we’ve combined several climate knowledgebases to make them more accessible to users, to make them easier for us to maintain, and to add subscriber value through a single as opposed to multiple knowledgebase subscriptions.

Click on the Knowledgebase you want to access in the list below and you’ll jump right to it. You can return to this “front door” for all the Knowledgebases at any time by clicking on the “Home” icon at the top center of your screen. You can navigate between Knowledgebases at any time by clicking on the “Pin” icon also at the top of your screen.

The LinkedIn® Knowledgebase - is associated with our Climate Change on LinkedIn Newsletter that you may already be a subscriber to. If not, you can easily subscribe to the Newsletter here! In short, all of the content we publish in the Newsletter goes into the Knowledgebase, where users can access individual posts chronologically, topically, or by author. In addition, as we do with the Newsletter, we’ll combine topical and author-specific collections of LinkedIn posts into customized narratives that we think will be useful for navigating people and topics on LinkedIn.

The Climate Podcasts Knowledgebase - Good podcasts offer listeners a wealth of knowledge, and the Climatographers listen to A LOT of climate podcasts (at least several per day). We then transcribe those episodes we think are worth including in this Knowledgebase - hundreds of them to date across dozens of podcast series. You can access both the full transcript and an AI-generated summary of the episode. The Knowledgebase is organized by podcast series, chronologically, and topically, and is fully searchable. As with LinkedIn posts, we also create very short episode summaries that we can use to create a narrative around a series of pre-selected podcast episodes.

The Learning with AI Knowledgebase - Still in its very early stages, our Climate Learning with AI Newsletter on LinkedIn shares examples of the Climatographers’ experimentation with AI-generated workproducts aimed at communicating and managing climate topics. We’ll share such content in this Knowledgebase before it’s integrated into our other knowledge solutions. If you’re not subscribed to the Newsletter, you can do so here!

The AI Images Knowledgebase - BETA - Still in its very early stages. We scan A LOT of content for purposes of building our various climate knowledge solutions, and we come across GREAT AI-generated images relevant to climate change. We thought it would be useful to collect these images in a central location where users can search for images that might meet their needs, without having to recreate the images (it’s not easy to come up with great images). We’re organizing this collection now, and will have it uploaded here soon.

The Search Terms Knowledgebase - This Knowledgebase organizes thousands of pre-scripted search terms for hundreds of climate topics across multiple platforms including Youtube, Vimeo, Twitter, Google Search, Google Scholar, Duck Duck Go, and more. If you’ve subscribed to this Knowledgebase Collection you can take advantage of the option to able to download it to your computer, which allows you to leverage the TheBrain software’s desktop capabilities, including the “hover” feature. All you have to do is hover over any of the thousands of search terms to see them activated on your screen. It’s an amazing way to rapidly scan the universe of on-line climate content. Note: This Knowledgebase is best explored with the “open plex” view you can toggle on via the “eye” icon at towards the top-right of your screen.

Please Support This Collection of Knowledgebases

The two Newsletters listed above are free to subscribe to, and large parts of our Climate Web and Your Climate Toolbox knowledge solutions are open access as well. Most of the content in this collection of Knowledgebases, however, is not open access. We hope you’ll subscribe to get access to the 5 Knowledgebases already listed, and new ones we’re planning to add. Instead of charging separately for each, we’ve combined them all into one very cost-effective package.
