How to this Brain

TheBrain information is organized in a dynamic, non-linear format that uses a graphical interface to visually display connections and relationships between various pieces of information. This is a powerful mind mapping and knowledge management tool that allows users to visualise, organise, and manage their thoughts, ideas, and information:
- vulcan.thebrain.com is the web domain of TheBrain: To begin traversing a web version of TheBrain, you will first need to access the shared link provided by the creator. This link will direct you to the online, interactive version of their Brain.
- Familiarize yourself with the interface: Upon opening the link, you will see the Plex, the main area where thoughts, links, and connections are displayed. Each thought is represented by a circle with a label, and lines connect related thoughts.
- Navigate thoughts: To navigate thoughts, simply click on any thought to make it the active or central thought. This will bring the connected thoughts closer and expand the Plex, revealing more thoughts in the hierarchy.
- Search for thoughts: If you're looking for a specific thought or topic, use the search bar located at the top of the page. Type in your query and press Enter. The results will be displayed as a list, and you can click on a thought to make it the active thought in the Plex.
- View thought details: When a thought is active, any associated notes, attachments, or links will be displayed in the content area, usually located below the Plex or to its right. Click on any item in the content area to view more information or open the attached files or links.
By following these steps, you'll be able to traverse and explore the web version of The JAPER Brain with ease, allowing you to gain insight into the creator's thought process and better understand the connections between ideas and concepts.
TheBrain introduced this new web client interface in March 2023.
