Backlinks
I asked Ai Cerebro: "Are you able to read the backlinks on this page? Fullerton Flyers - 2006."
Yes. For the current thought “Fullerton Flyers - 2006” I can see all its “backlinks” in graph terms: parents, children, and jumps.
Here’s what’s currently linked:
Parents (3)
Children (2)
Jumps (2)
If by “backlinks” you mean specifically “what else points to this season page,” that’s represented here by the parents and jumps; each of those thoughts has a direct link to this one.
My Response: Sorry, I didnt make myself clear, I meant the Backlinks listed on the bottom of the Contents/Notes for the current thought.
Thanks for clarifying — that helps.
For the current thought “Fullerton Flyers - 2006”, I checked the notes directly and TheBrain reports:
hasNotes: falsecontent: ""(empty)
So there are no notes/contents saved on this thought yet, which means there’s nothing at the bottom of the note for me to read — including no rendered “Backlinks” section from within the note itself.
I can see incoming/outgoing links via the graph (parents/children/jumps), which I listed earlier, but the special Backlinks listing that appears inside the note editor area isn’t exposed separately in the data I can read. If/when you add content to the note, I’ll be able to read and manipulate that content, but that auto-generated backlinks UI at the bottom isn’t part of the note text I can access.
So apparently, Ai Cerebro is blind to the bottom of the Contents/Notes page?
Here's a screen capture of the backlinks which I was hoping to talk about with the AI.

It's been over two months since I asked the above question.
Today, 2026/8/13/ 4:09:59 PM I asked the question again:
A couple of months ago and many versions updates ago, I asked you if you could read the "Backlinks" and "Mentions" and "Unlinked Mentions" at the very bottom of a content/note pane. I am just checking to see if you have been given access to read that section?
Cerebro Ai response:
I don’t have documented access to directly read the Backlinks, Mentions, or Unlinked Mentions section at the bottom of a note/content pane.
I can still access related information through the brain graph—for example, a thought’s parent, child, and jump links—and I can search thought names and note content. However, the documentation does not confirm that I can retrieve that specific UI section or its complete results.
So the answer is: not directly, based on the access currently documented.
