Cerebro custom sort ordering

Me: Ok, we have spent my tokens and I will continue without you. I do have a question. Are you able to do the custom sort order for example, this list has Hiroshima Carp years 1950 -1967, then it sorts to Hiroshima Carp - 2020 through 2024, then goes to Hiroshima Toyo Carp - 1968 through 2019. Are you able to sort by the YEAR even though it is at the end of the thought name?

Cerebro: Yes—if the sort operation supports sorting by a date/year extracted from the thought name, I can arrange them chronologically. However, the available graph tools here do not expose a direct custom sibling-reordering or “sort by numeric suffix” operation.

For your current names, ordinary alphabetical sorting produces the problem you described:

  1. Hiroshima Carp — 1950–1967
  2. Hiroshima Carp — 2020–2024
  3. Hiroshima Toyo Carp — 1968–2019

To get true chronological order, the practical options are:

The year is at the end of the name, but that alone does not make alphabetical sorting numeric. A true year-based sort would require either an application-level sort feature that recognizes the year or manual ordering.
