Content Type Gallery

The Admin level Content Type Gallery is located in the SharePoint Admin Center under “Content Services”. Modifications at this level can be published to all SharePoint Sites within the organization.

Each individual SharePoint Site also has has a Content Type Gallery located on the site settings page. Modifications at this level exist on the local SharePoint site only.
