PICACHOS GOLD SILVER PROPERTY
Brigadier’s 100% controlled Picachos Project is a 3,954 hectare gold and silver prospect located in the mining friendly jurisdiction of Sinaloa State, Mexico.
Picachos hosts over 160 underground historic mines, workings and prospects which have yet to undergo modern, systematic exploration and drilling.
Primary targets include under-explored gold veins within the historic San Agustin mine (underground sampling by Thunderbird Projects implies an average grade of 81.22 g/t Au and 73.36 g/t Ag across 1.2m [18 June 1997 News Release]) and La Gloria, a historic mine with rock samples containing 21.1 g/t Au and 6 g/t Ag across 0.8m (Sample #15659)
Brigadier Gold, the first company to initiate a modern, comprehensive exploration and diamond drill progam on Picachos,is currently completing its Phase One 5000 meter drill program focused on historic high grade San Agustin gold mine and has since expanded into the pervasively mineralized Cocolmeca Vein Structure.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Picachos Project encompasses 3,954 hectare gold and silver prospect located in the mining friendly jurisdiction of Sinaloa State, Mexico. It overlaps one of the largest, most contiguous and highest amplitude anomalies for gold, silver and base metals in the Western Sierra Madre. The project is road accessible and 4 hours from Mazatlán, with recently renewed surface access agreement with the local community.
Brigadier initiated a 5,000 meter diamond drill and project wide exploration program that commenced in September 2020 with assays returning high grade results at depth (assay highlights below).
The Company’s focus is proving the potential for high-grade gold-silver veins that will likely be developed using underground mining methods. The center of the 2020 exploration campaign has been the past-producing San Agustin Mine which has exploited one of the ore chutes of the major east-northeasterly trending Cocolmeca Vein System (introduced in Company press-release dated 6 July 2020). In detail, the Cocolmeca Vein system is comprised of several sub-parallel veins over a 7km strike and a 1.5 kilometer wide zone.
Location and Infrastructure
- Centered over the historic “Viva Zapata” National Mineral Reserve due east of Mazatlán.
- 26 km NE of Cacalotan in the Municipio of Rosario, Sinaloa.
- Access is via a paved road between the historically active gold mining town of El Rosario and the village of Cacalotan. From there, a 26km-long country road trends northeasterly to the hamlet of Sitios de Picacho.
- Mine workings are accessed from about 20 kilometers of roads internal to the Property.
Phase One Exploration Highlights
Drilling highlights include:
- 9.49 g/t Au and 24 g/t Ag across 3 m (88 to 91 m) in DH-BRG-008
- 6.24 g/t Au and 79 g/t Ag across 3 m (122.5 to 125.5 m) in DH-BRG-009
- 7.03 g/t Au and 110 g/t Ag across 3.5 m (137.5 to 141 m) in DH-BRG-012
- 6.75 g/t Au and 44 g/t Ag across 2.5 m (108.5 to 111 m) in DH-BRG-014
Phase-one exploration results at Picachos provided several highlights, including:
- Confirmed seven-kilometer long vein system of precious metals mineralization
- Widely spaced holes show vein continuity on strike and at depth with robust width
- High grade nature of precious metals mineralization consistently observed in assays
- Confirmed meaningful gold/silver mineralization in hanging wall and footwall of vein systems
- Discovered previously unexplored high-grade gold and silver historic workings
- Multiple new surface and subsurface targets discovered during reconnaissance and mapping
