TSXV's Latin American Minerals Signs LOI to Purchase Sail Pond Project From Altius Minerals
01:06 PM EDT, 08/24/2020 (MT Newswires) -- Latin American Minerals Inc. (LAT.V) has executed a Letter of Intent to purchase 100% of the Sail Pond project on the Great Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland from Altius Resources Inc, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Altius Minerals Corp. (ALS.TO).
The 540 claim (13,500 Ha) Sail Pond Property comprises occurrences of silver-copper-lead-zinc sulphide mineralization in bedrock.
LAT is working with Altius to finalize plans for a Phase 1 exploration program which would be followed by a maiden drill program in 2021. The phase 1 program will look to expand on known mineral occurrences, to discover additional occurrences, and to gain a better overall understanding of the mineralization, with the ultimate goal of providing a ranking of drill targets.
