Location

The Ear Falls property is located southwest of the Uchi Belt and occurs within an Archean clastic metasedimentary belt 50 km southeast of the Red Lake gold camp (+20 Moz Au) (Dube et al, 2004), and 15km west of the community of Ear Falls, Ontario.

2,936-ha claim block is located southwest of the Uchi Belt and occurs within an Archean clastic metasedimentary belt approximately 15km west of the community of Ear Falls, Ontario.

Highlights

• The property is situated along the contact between clastic metasedimentary rocks (including interbedded iron formations), and granitic intrusives.
• Regional geology indicates a major northeast trending dextral fault immediately north and parallel to the property.
• This property is truly grass roots as there is no recorded history of gold exploration in the area and little detailed mapping. Clastic sedimentary host rocks have been typically overlooked in the Uchi Belt of western Ontario, and yet host significant gold mineralization in analogous rocks in the Abitibi (e.g. Malartic and Eleanore).
• Major through-going structures indicated in regional geologic and geophysical datasets will form the foundation of the early-stage evaluation program on the Ear Falls property.
