ALMADEN MINERALS
09/14/2020 (MT Newswires) -- Almaden Minerals (AMM.TO) edged up in premarket New York trading after the company on Monday said it is resuming exploration at its Ixtaca property in Mexico, as it looks to drill outside of its main gold and silver deposit on the site.
The company said it is awaiting permits for a drilling program that will test new targets on the property.
"The company has taken the decision to resume exploration at this large property with a focus on some previously identified high potential targets which lie outside of the currently defined reserve and feasibility study envelope," it said in a release.
Almaden said it expects to design a drilling program following mapping, sampling and geophysical surveys on the property.
The company's shares were last seen up US$0.0037 to US$0.77 in premarket trading. The shares closed up C$0.13 to C$1.01 Friday on the Toronto Stock Exchange,
