TANZANIAN GOLD CORP

Tanzanian Gold Corp. (TNX.TO) was at last look up 4.2% on the TSX and up 0.3% on the NYSE American after saying Tuesday that it engaged PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance Inc. to assist in securing project financing for the construction of two gold mining projects at its Buckreef property in Tanzania.

The company said that a team from PricewaterhouseCoopers has worked for several months conducting extensive due diligence.

Buckreef has a high-grade resource of about 2.0 million ounces of gold, with a shovel ready oxide project and a sulfide project fast tracking through a bankable feasibility study.
