MCLLVENNA BAY PROJECT

McIlvenna Bay is the world’s first carbon neutral copper development project, host to a significant and scalable resource located in Saskatchewan, Canada, which is one of the world’s premier mining jurisdictions. The project enjoys support from the local communities.

McIlvenna Bay is the largest undeveloped VHMS deposit along the deposit rich Flin Flon Greenstone Belt. It benefits from a large resource, last increased in 2019, Foran expects to increase the size of the resource and upgrade more of the inferred category to indicated category through our 2021 drill program. The Deposit is open and initial results have already demonstrated the exciting potential to drive the scale and eventual mine life.

Foran’s experienced management team is focused on delivering a mine at McIlvenna Bay that causes the least possible harm and delivers superior returns from day one to eventual closure at its McIlvenna Bay deposit.

The mine at the site is being designed to be cleaner, safer, and more efficient than the competition by design. It is intended to massively reduce harm to the earth and communities with zero-emission technologies, environmental best practices, combined with innovative worker safety and quality of life initiatives, and strong transparent governance. Detailed information will be provided when the feasibility study is published.

This approach will de-risk the business and make it sustainable in every sense of the word, positioning the Company as a key component of the circular economy through responsible, low cost production of essential commodities needed for a sustainable future.
