For me "Predictive Processing" is just a superficial expression of time capitalism as a normalizing conservative gesture of the current situation, which is right in our actual first order rationality, but limited in my second-order perspective. Necessary, but no more sufficient [Soto²]
intentionality is fundamentally future-oriented [for a cognitivist/predictive processing, surely...]

While I'm highly sympathetic which such study 👍, this is not a "second-order" conception, but the reification of a first-order cognitivist one, which is completely different. "Anticipation" is here in the anthropofunctionalist eye of the observer. [Soto²]
