Galatians
To: assemblies of Galatia
Our perception is after the scales fell from Paul's eyes, he went out teaching the Good News. We also have an unconscious mindset about timing of the Second Writings //New Testament//. But check out Galatians:
- I did not immediately consult with any human.
- I did not go up to Jerusalem to those who were emissaries before me, either.
- I went away to Arabia and returned again to Damascus.
- Then THREE YEARS later I went to Jerusalem to visit with Peter
- I stayed with him FIFTEEN DAYS
- I saw no other emissaries except Jacob //James//, the Lord’s brother.
- Then I went to the regions of Syria and Cilicia.
- Then after FOURTEEN years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus with me.
Galatians is believed to be one of Paul's earliest writings. But Paul didn't even write Galatians until AT LEAST 15 years after his transformation. Galatians was written more than 15 years after Jesus's ascension. The new believers didn't have Galatians as part of their "Bible Study." It wasn't something suggested to be read by a new Christian.
