10
In Revelation = totality ( all of something)
- The tithe: The word for 10 in Hebrew, eser (עֶשֶׂר), is similar in spelling to osher (עֹ֫שֶׁר), which means wealth. This gives the word a connection to the tithe, which is the tenth part of something that is dedicated to God. In biblical times, the tithe was a tenth of the harvest.
- The final unification: In Judaism, the number 10 represents the final unification between the natural and supernatural
- The 10th letter, Yud: The 10th letter in the Hebrew Aleph-Bet is Yud. Rav Kook describes Yud as representing "the number in its perfection that unifies every distinct detail".
