Rom 12.7: the gift of service

Service: diakoinia – serving, rendering a service, from which we get deacon and deaconness, men and women who serve

Similar to the gift of “helps” in 1 Cor 12.28, which uses the word antilempsis – to provide relief, to participate (in a burdened person’s task or difficulty), to partake (of another person’s burden), to provide support

Same idea as Paul’s instruction to Church elders in Ac 20.35 to, “help the weak”
