The main "touristy" area. Many shops, restaurants, and attractions. In the strictest sense, the "Waterfront District" refers to an area sandwiched between the river and the beach, connected by several bridges. Due to its location, all structures are built on steam kts, since combinations of high tides and storms can cause the area to flood.
