In Chaldean Numerology number 18 is connected to wars and this fits with the fact that a popular firearm is a 9mm handgun. Number 9 is also connected is connected to Pluto in Chaldean Numerology and connected to Mars in Pythagorean Numerology. Mars is malefic and can involve conflict/war. Mars traditionally ruled the zodiac sign that Pluto rules, Scorpio.
SIDE NOTE:
The Moon is connected to the number 2 but the number 29 can be very troublesome so it’s interesting that there’s so much connection between the Moon and the number 9 just like the 18th Tarot Card itself “The Moon” is troublesome and can involve needing to address psychological projection and do shadow work. To summarize, number 2 is emotions (Moon) and connect heavily to 9 which is psychological-issues (Pluto) and conflict/passion (Mars). 2+9=11 and 1+1=2 so 29 is a Moon number but the 29th degree in astrology is a “Leo degree” and Leo is ruled by the Sun. The Sun is the father and the Moon is the mother. A pregnancy is 9 months long & the Moon impacts the menstrual cycle & rules a sign connected to motherhood, Cancer. The Moon’s orbit has Lilith which spends around 9 months in a sign & is connected to Scorpio which is ruled by Pluto which as we said is connected to 9. Scorpio relates to sex & there is no motherhood without the mother first having sex. The Moon “falls” in Scorpio too. The Lunar Nodes which are connected to the Eclipses spend around 18 or 19 months in a sign. Chaldean Numerology also mentions that 18 is connected to making money by wars or through wars, which accounts for the gematria connection to “Venus” since Venus is connected to money. The Moon is also “exalted” in Venus-ruled Taurus i.e. happy there. Incidentally, the sign opposite to Moon-ruled Cancer is Capricorn which is the sign of the CEO and that also relates to money, especially since Capricorn is the last earth sign. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn and the word “Saturn” has the same gematria as “Lunar” and “Moon”. The Moon is at “detriment” in Capricorn, i.e. not so happy.
