Midpoint

“The Sun/Moon midpoint in astrology, specifically in the natal chart, is a highly sensitive and personal point. It is a mathematical point that is exactly halfway between the Sun and the Moon¹. The symbolism of the Sun/Moon midpoint is associated with the desire for companionship¹. This point represents a state of "inner marriage" and symbolizes close personal relationships¹. It's very important in any kind of relationship analysis, in addition to natal chart work¹.

In synastry, the Sun/Moon midpoint is often activated by the other person’s personal planet in significant relationships¹. If another person’s personal planet, especially the Sun or Moon, forms an aspect such as conjunction, opposition, square, semi-square, and sesquiquadrature to the Sun/Moon midpoint, that person represents some kind of promise of integration to the Sun/Moon midpoint owner¹. Therefore, it is a strong indicator of attraction¹.

As for the midpoint between the rising sign (Ascendant) and the Midheaven (MC), it shows how you live in the moment⁶. The Ascendant represents your outward personality and how you present yourself to the world, while the Midheaven represents your public image, career path, and professional life⁴. The midpoint between these two points can provide insight into how you balance your personal identity with your public persona and career ambitions⁶.”
