I call it Magnopunk, similar to steampunk with things being powered by rotary steam engines, but with magnetic repulsion rotary motors (with vehicles, airships and submarines, powered by Variable Rate Rotary Repulsion Magnetic Motor Drives [VRRRMM Drive], or something like that). Otherwise, high fantasy, powerful magic which relies heavily on the forces of nature (not just the basic elements [earth, fire, water, wind, heart and mind, and combinations of], but the Alru [moon] alignments as they represent the good, evil, law and chaos aspects of magic). There are four moons, two stars, and a black hole, and the "meal" of the black hole (nebula of gases and random space debris being stretched in space and time by the black hole).

As the stars and planet orbit around the black hole it spends about fifteen thousand years with the Galactic Disk on the far side of the stars from the black hole, and during this time the world is able to support life comfortably on the surface, but there is one hundred thousand years where it too cold. But life survived underground and in the depths of the oceans. As the world warmed most recently, the world was engaged in wars fought by slaves for seven thousand years until the world underwent a thousand years of major quakes, which created the sky islands. When the quakes stopped, there was time of rejoicing, and then a desire to cooperate with each other (and the plot thickens.........................). Its been 1500 years since the quakes stopped, and a thousand since the world has been at "peace."

And someone who was supposed to be assassinated wasn't, but someone else was in his place...... (its fun to get a character to shout "I'm not dead yet" in the town square at midnight)</p>
