However if the target is large and flammable beam quality is not critical, just brute power. Invisible energy at 920-940 nm the laser is not visible to human eye, same wavelength used in your TV remote. However a 1' diameter spot with 100-300KW from 10 miles or 60,000' will start a fire in no time.
