Bolometric Correction

(abbreviated BC), for any type of star, is a number which can be definded, to relate the bolometric magnitude to the absolute visual magnitude MV.

\[M_{Bol}=M_V+BC\]

Where:

M_Bol is the bolometric magnitude.

BC is the bolometric correction.
