Truss Bridge
A truss bridge is a bridge whose main load-carrying structure consists of a truss. The members primarily carry axial forces—either tension or compression—rather than bending. External loads are ideally applied at the joints, allowing the truss to transfer loads efficiently through its members to the supports.
