Dandelion Leaf, & Hormones

• Progesterone Receptor (PR): The DT-1E group showed higher mRNA expression of PR in the uterus after gonadotropin injection compared to the control group.
• Follicle-Stimulating Hormone Receptor (FSHR): Increased mRNA expression of FSHR was found in the ovary of mice treated with DT-1E following gonadotropin injection.

These findings suggest a potential application for DT-1E in addressing reproductive hormone-related disturbances.

Dandelion Leaf and Plant Hormones

Dandelion also exhibits interactions with plant hormones. Jasmonic acid (JA) treatment, which is involved in herbivory-induced defense signaling, influences transcriptomes and metabolomes in apomictic common dandelion (Taraxacum officinale). Parental JA treatment significantly affected 307 out of 858 detected JA-responsive transcripts in offspring plants. Both transcriptome and metabolome analyses identified the phosphatidylinositol signaling pathway as a target for these intergenerational JA effects.

Other Hormonal Considerations

While research on dandelion leaf primarily focuses on its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and other beneficial properties, direct evidence of its impact on human hormones beyond the reproductive system is not extensively documented in the provided information.
