CLOSING REMARKS
The quantum involved is astronomical, the circumstances so unusual that to compound a problem from the Nixon Era with yet another defies logic. It is my hope that a positive outcome can be derived for all parties involved in this matter.
Consider the price of peace in the Middle East. Israel is reportedly asking Washington for $15 –27 billion to relocate military facilities from the occupied territories, and another $30-$40 billion to make its armed forces as technologically advanced as those of the U.S space and intelligence systems. Plus another $2 billion more for missile defence on top of $1.5 billion already received from the US. The US and Europe provide Palestine’s entire $360 million annual budget. Arafat now seeks $40 billion compensation –not from Israel, but from the US – for the nearly 4 million Palestinian refugees and their confiscated property.
_In short, American taxpayers are being asked to again massively bribe their squabbling clients into pretending to co-operate. _
What about the price of peace and upliftment in my own country, South Africa and this region? This country has been marginalised and my intention is a matter of record with the South African authorities since 1994. This matter supersedes the individual David Green.
