How Bad Could It Get?

How Bad Could It Get?

Let's look at the facts...

According to CNN, when Libya got knocked offline due to uprisings and fighting, oil prices jumped nearly 30%... from $91 to $118. Libya only supplies 2% of the world's oil.

Saudi Arabia is a whole different story.

Saudi Arabia supplies 25%... that's over 12 times more than Libya! When Libya went offline, Saudi Arabia stepped in to make up for the lost oil production. Consequently, oil prices were kept in check.

But what will happen when Saudi Arabia gets hit? Not only could prices spike 10-12 times what they did when Libya went offline... but there is NO ONE capable of providing backup.

Alan Duncan -- the British Overseas Development Minister -- warned that oil could reach $250/barrel... if extremists bomb oil tankers, pipelines or Saudi reserves...

For the global economic situation, if there is a major political uprising in Saudi Arabia, that's just about as bad as it could be.

As The Economist notes, "anger is rising" in Saudi Arabia and it is "far from secure."

And a recent Pulitzer Prize-winning Wall Street Journal writer, Karen House, points out that "time is running out" in Saudi Arabia...

It won't take much to create havoc. Saudi Arabia doesn't need to be completely offline. Even a small disruption in Saudi Arabia will create extreme financial pain.

Make no mistake: We are headed for an oil shock of epic proportions... an oil shock that could devastate people who are unprepared... and help people who are prepared make a potential fortune.

Which side of the fence will you be on?
