4. Validation

<p>There are two ways in which this can&nbsp;be achieved:</p>

<ul>

<li>The first is to provide the interviewee with a copy of the interview notes or the initial&nbsp;draft of the business requirements that result from the full set of interviews, or both, and ask them&nbsp;to verify the contents.</li>

<li>The second approach is to hold a brief consensus-building workshop based on the initial draft of&nbsp;the requirements document. This approach is particularly useful if the senior managers have&nbsp;differing requirements and priorities &ndash; as they often do.</li>
