<h2>Component Security Architecture</h2>

<p>The component security architecture is the tradesman’s view of life – the specialized tools and product components of your enterprise security architecture. This chapter looks at a selection of these components but stops short of discussing any specific brand or vendor. This is because:</p>

<li> it is not appropriate to comment on one versus another here and</li>

<li>the marketplace changes so rapidly that the authors have focused on writing as timelessly as possible by sticking to generic principles.</li>
