Thanks for reaching out, happy to clarify this.

The issue here is that the text you’re pasting uses a special style of Unicode characters that aren’t part of the standard Latin alphabet. While they look like regular bold or italic letters, they’re actually treated as unique symbols, which TheBrain 14’s thought title field doesn’t fully support.

You’ll still be able to view them in the Notes section, but for the thought name itself, we recommend pasting plain text or typing it manually using standard characters to avoid any display issues.

This behavior has been improved in TheBrain 15, which is still in testing, but for now, sticking with standard characters for thought titles is the most reliable option.
