Crossy Quest
Hello Mr. Caton,
My name is Emily Parker and I am a Junior Product Innovation Intern in the Digital Experiences Department.
I would like to submit a proposal for a mobile game called Crossy Quest.
Crossy Quest is inspired by classic crossing-style arcade games where players guide a character across busy roads, rivers, train tracks, and other obstacles. The game would feature modern graphics, unlockable characters, seasonal environments, daily challenges, and online leaderboards.
Product Value & User Need
The target audience is casual mobile gamers between the ages of 8 and 45. The game is designed to provide quick, entertaining play sessions that can be enjoyed during short breaks throughout the day.
Recent app store trends show that simple skill-based games continue to attract large audiences because they are easy to learn and suitable for players of all ages. The game would be designed with colorful visuals, family-friendly content, and simple controls that make it accessible to younger players.
Technical Feasibility & Platform Compatibility
The game would be developed using the Unity engine, allowing deployment to iOS, Android, Windows, and web browsers from a shared code base.
The gameplay mechanics are relatively straightforward and rely on technology already familiar to our engineering team. Online leaderboards would be implemented using existing cloud services already approved by the company.
The game would not require advanced AI systems, high-end graphics hardware, or proprietary technologies.
User Experience & Safety
Crossy Quest would contain no violence, mature content, gambling mechanics, or social chat features.
The user interface would be designed with large touch controls, clear instructions, colorblind-friendly visual options, and parental control settings.
No personal information would be collected beyond basic account information needed for leaderboard participation. The game would comply with child privacy requirements and would be suitable for players ages 8 and older.
Market Opportunity & Strategic Fit
The casual gaming market continues to perform well across mobile platforms. Several successful games have demonstrated sustained player engagement using simple gameplay mechanics and cosmetic character unlocks.
Crossy Quest would differentiate itself through cooperative challenge modes, themed seasonal events, and educational environmental levels that encourage strategic thinking.
Revenue opportunities could include cosmetic character packs, optional season passes, and advertising for free users.
The project aligns with our company goal of expanding consumer-facing mobile products and increasing recurring digital revenue streams.
Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to any feedback and would be happy to provide additional information.
Sincerely,
Emily Parker
