History of Recent Releases

• An excellent set of dimensional icons is available in TheBrain 8.
• v9 was a complete rewrite from previous versions of TheBrain.
  • To quote Harlan, TheBrain 9 was "the culmination of over 5 years of work rebuilding everything on an entirely new code base in a new language and with a completely different framework".
• v10 added the BrainBox
• v12 provided a completely new (much more stable and versatile) Notes area.
• v13 introduced dynamic wallpapers, fully functional tables in the notes area, and a completely new Web Client with significant enhancements for sharing brains, including AI features, tours, no-plex view and easy 1-click link sharing.
• v14 introduced new AI features in the desktop, search across synced brains, the BrainBox Ultra, and completely new Mobile apps.
• v15: is another significant new rewrite focused on:
  • Streamlining and integrating the UI across all platforms: desktop, web client and mobile
  • Thematic UI enhancements
