Thoughts Disappearing from Plex in TB15
Issue
Multiple variations of disappearing (slow loading) thoughts in the plex have been reported over a period of several months. See the links below, and the adjacent child thoughts in the plex. Multiple attempts at fixing this issue have not yet been successful.
☆ Workarounds
- Harlan's recommended workaround: To make the display refresh you can drag the plex up or down a little (drag on the background) and the layout will fix itself. This works in both the desktop and the web client.
- Web Client Logged out: Refresh the browser window.
- Desktop & Web Client Logged in: Adding a link from the active thought to another new or existing thought will also usually bring the missing thoughts back into view.
Status
- 10.16.25: Reported in new help desk ticket along with demo video and output log
- 10.17.25: Support reported the issue is under review
- Multiple related instances reported on 10/17 and 10/18
- 10.20.25: Shared 2 more screenshots from yesterday that might be related
- Plex display off center
- Incomplete thought display in web client.

- I was unable to submit my output log because of uploading delays and error messages.

- Shared reminder in the forum of the issue occurring on a daily basis in the default view of the plex, as well.

- 01.30.26: Matt confirmed Support is still "hunting" the disappearing thoughts issue.

- 02.11.26: Explained I could trigger the issue quite frequently (more than 50% of the time) by clicking on past thoughts in my history list
- 02.13.26: Issue appeared to be resolved in desktop, but not web client
- 02.14.26: Issue reappeared in desktop. Issue remains unresolved in web client > See attached screenshot
