Fact

Anything done, or that comes to pass; an act; a deed; an effect produced or achieved; an event. Witnesses are introduced into a court to prove a fact. Facts are stubborn things. To deny a fact knowingly is to lie. Information reasonably reliable as discerned from more than one of one's senses, acquired first-hand, may be a reliable fact. The Biblical Fact requires two or more witnesses to swear authenticity. In civil law, the fact is a document with one person swearing its authenticity. A computer transfer is a legal fact.
