attorn:Verb. intransitive. 1. In the feudal law,to turn, or transfer homage and service from one lord to another; to render homage and service (to a lord). This is an act of feudatories, vassals, or tenants, upon the alienation of the estate.

2. To transfer title of a feudal serf along with his personal possessions from one lord to another.
