Old Granary

The old food storage facility adjacent to the Bazaar, rendered obsolete with the constructon of a new food processing structure underground. The building is now given over to a mix of workshops, stalls, with residential space above the large indoor space. The market caters to much newer, contemporary tastes, selling many more imports, and modern conveniences. It is the closest thing to a trendy, modern district found in Afyon, and many older and more traditional residents look down on it, and are grateful the “garishness” are kept confined inside the walls of the building.
