Cheney Beach

City owned land 1896ca - to 1946. In the 1920s the Tilicum Club and volunteers were in charge of development and maintenance of the public beach and beach houses.

The land was sold to Orr Farrington to expand his resort in November 1946.

Some folks report that the Cheney municipal beach was on the west shore of the lake.
