Members Projects

A sample of projects done by members of the AMST for their respective personal interests.

Members join the Akaroa Community Men’s Shed to pursue their own projects and also contribute to community projects. Whilst doing these projects they enjoy the companionship and gain knowledge and expertise from other members.

Personal projects have varied greatly.

• local reserve seats
• craft tools (a felting tool)
• lazy Suzy table carousels
• book shelves
• antique furniture repaired
• wig stands
• bowls turned
• blow cart construction
• etc

Basically... the shed, it’s equipment, members expertise and know how

is just a big resource waiting to be used.
