TeamBrain Overview
Overview
TeamBrain is TheBrain for groups — an organization that ties a team's members and licenses together so people can collaborate and an admin can manage everyone's access from one place. If your account belongs to a TeamBrain organization, you get a management page for it. You reach it in the web app from the account menu > TeamBrain Management. Self-hosted enterprise servers don't show it; they manage people through User Administration instead.
The TeamBrain Management Page
The management page shows your organization's name and ID at the top, then lists your organization members — each member's email, name, role, and license status (Active or Inactive). A TeamBrain License Management section below is where license seats are assigned. From this page, organization admins invite people, change roles, and remove members. Seats are a separate matter: they can be assigned only by someone who owns the TeamBrain subscription or whose own seat in it is set to Admin, whatever their organization role (see Inviting and Managing Members).
Roles
Members have one of two roles:
- User — a regular member of the organization.
- Admin — can manage the organization: invite and remove members, and change roles.
- TeamBrain organization membership is separate from a brain's own access list — for sharing individual brains, see Brain Access and Sharing.
