Brain Settings
These settings are under Brain in the settings dialog and apply to the brain that is open. In a shared brain, Personal Settings affect only you, while Plex Settings and Content Settings apply to everyone who uses the brain.
- Personal Settings — Settings > Brain > Personal Settings holds how you view a brain — navigation mode, sorting, text scales, animation, the pins and past thoughts lists, note sections and attachment layout; in a shared brain your choices affect only you, and owners and writers can make them the brain's default.
- Plex Settings — Settings > Brain > Plex Settings controls how thoughts are drawn in a brain's Plex — column width and spacing, whether tag names and tag icons show, tag and label size, the note and attachment count icons, and context sensitive thought names.
- Brain Content Settings — Settings > Brain > Content Settings is where you change a brain's options for notes and attachments — the line spacing and line gap of note text, which thought names count as mentions, video embeds, link renaming, the note format, hero images, and whether the web app reuses one browser tab for the web pages you open.
