Arkansas Code
The Arkansas Code, which is the compilation of the state's laws, did not exist until the 1880s, and the current version of the code was last revised in 2019.
It is worth noting that the Confederate States of America, including Arkansas, ceased to exist as a political entity in 1865 with the end of the Civil War. After the war, Arkansas was readmitted to the Union and began to adopt new laws and codes, including a new constitution in 1868.
