A Team

A Team is a collaborative interface dedicated to an O365 Group. Not all Groups have a Team. A Team is an Optional Add-on. However, a Team is always associated with an O365 Group. Groups can be created along with a Team, or a Team can be added to the Group later on.

Group “Teams” are located the Teams App, which is a component of the Teams Program. You are not alone if you find this confusing.
