<p>after passing through the door, there is a long hallway, which leads to some stairs spiraling down a wide hole. After a few laps there are books stacked along the walls of the hole.&#160;

Nik asks why there are books here.

Librarian says these are the books that are unreadable, damaged. We stack them in this hole as a monument to what is lost.

Nik looks over the edge of stairs. The hole extends a great distance, and the walls are covered in books of all sizes, hundreds of feet of books stacked like bricks along the side of the wall of the hole.

Nik didn't know there were even this many books in the world , let alone just damaged books.

Librarian laughs and says "wait till you see the main library..."
