<p>Breakfast:

&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160; In the great hall of the Sanctuary.&#160;

&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160; drab, bland food; "here we learn to live without the typical comforts of life outside the Sanctuary." A monk tells Arun.

&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;

Raain and Nik go to the Library, Griegg takes Arun on a tour, meeting various monks getting random advice unsolicited.&#160;

&#160;

Head librarian has seen the image, and is surprised to see it. HL expresses his condolences on the loss of Griegg, Raain informs HL that Griegg is actually alive.

&#160;

Head librarian walks them to a lock box, with extra keys; then to a door which requires three keys (HL tells them that not even Matthew Clevel has gone through this door; "Where we are about to go, I am the only living person whom has entered, you are receiving a rare glimpse into secrecy. You cannot tell Griegg, he cannot see this until something from inside is revealed to him outside." Raain: "He said he recently found what might be one of the lost temples, and some very old books." HL: "depending on what the books are, he may need to, but I scarcely trust him. He has heard too many rumors, tried to research them on his own, and talks too much."). Leads to a hallway. sapphire line on floor, walls and ceiling. the people cross fine, but the medallion sticks, will not cross. Librarian suggests turning the dial so the emerald is pointing to the right, tries to pass it across the line, but sparks shoot out between the sapphire line and the medallion. HL shouts to turn it quickly to the left. Nik turns it clockwise, so the emerald is on the left side of the medallion, behind the man standing

&#160;

depths has books and other stuff that Twin Keys doesn't have, or doesn't acknowledge they have. (intro to the conspiracy) (pen and key are the only others that have this information)

&#160;

After very long walk through a magically lit hall with no shadows, they enter a large hall, a library even larger than the one on the surface. In the middle of the main aisle is a table, on the table is a map of a world that is not this world. Three continents, one large and roundish, another to the north east is diamond shaped, and below that is a long narrow continent. On the diamond shaped continent are four counties, each with a circle cut in the middle of them. One of the circles has a etching similar to Nik's, but with a different man standing while the man that is standing on his is dead.

&#160;

When placed in the corresponding circle, a column of green light erupts from it, and a major quake begins, lasting two hours. Fears grow of the GK returning, as there haven't been any quakes since. Quake is felt around the world. It's a great relief to everyone when it stops. A surprisingly small amount of damage takes place.&#160;

After the quakes end, HL ushers them out quickly, saying he needs to do some research very quickly. HL tells Raain and Nik not to tell anyone what took place.

&#160;

On the surface everything is calming down from the chaos, picking up books that have fallen, vases that broke, etc.

&#160;

Griegg questions what they did that caused the quakes, "nothing, we were just looking at books and then the quake started."&#160;

&#160;

&#160;

While walking down the hallway towards the deep library, Nik properly introduces himself, and asks if the librarian has anything on the Worther family line. HL, scratches his forehead (lifting the gem in his headband off his head for a moment, this is unseen) says the scroll will be waiting on the front desk for him when they return to the main library. Nik is confused. HL says, "Telepathy is a powerful tool, powerful and potentially dangerous. I'm not as powerful as The Eternal Matthew Clevel, but I have enough skills to send messages to people I know well." Raain: "Arun Bwein shows some skill in telepathy, but he needs training." HL: "His training will be through experience. For some, that is the only way they will learn: by doing. This Sanctuary is a place of studying, less doing."
