- In the west, the major mayfly of the spring months is the Blue Wing Olive.
- Fly sizes for these range from #12 – #20 during spring time.
- Further east, you’ll have hendricksons, BWO and march browns.
- Parachute adams usually imitate march browns just fine.
- Sizes are a bit larger and more manageable in the east ranging from #12-#18 except for BWO which stay in the #16 – #24 range.
