Find Leverage

This stage is about exploring the most promising opportunities for engaging with the system and

influencing its behaviour in order to push it towards a desired goal, from where we have agency and

authority to act.

This is an important distinction from other traditional problem-solving processes, where it

is usually ‘others’ that need to act or do something differently. In systems work, we seek to facilitate change

from where we stand in the system.
