Linking Notes Together
Notes become part of the network when they link to other thoughts. These topics cover adding and following links in notes, showing one thought's note inside another, copying links to thoughts, and the alternate names that help TheBrain find the thought you mean.
- Links in Notes — Link note text to other thoughts or to the web, follow and paste links, turn links into real connections in the Plex, and see backlinks and mentions of a thought.
- Embedded Notes — Show another thought's note inside this one — live and read-only — with a corner control to open the source, and commands to convert between links and embeds.
- Copy Thought Links — Copy a web link or a local brain:// link to a thought from the share menu, to paste it into notes, documents, or messages.
- Thought Aliases — Give a thought alternate names that search and unlinked-mention detection treat like its real name; the label counts as an alias too.
